HE CALMED THE WAVES!!! PEACE BE STILL!!!!!!

Good morning to all.Life is a vapor. blow on a mirror, your breath appears and then disappears. very short. life is very short. some get 80,some live to 70,even some to 100 years old. but still, life flies by so fast.How will we live it? WHAT do we believe? WHY do we believe what we believe? I didnt grow up in a GOD environment. HE meant nothing to me until 1984, the night i cried out, broken in my sin,"God be merciful to me a sinner"! GOD became very real and personal that very night in the person of HIS SON JESUS(not religion). its not crazy that all thru HIStory some of the greatest and smartest men and women have cried out for something greater than themselves to save them from themselves and GODS just judgement. its not intellectual suicide to look around this amazing universe and see unfathomable design. the CRAZY thing is to say "wow, no designer, just chance. chunks of mass just happened to be floating around haphazardly.somehow they bang into each other,creating perfect spheres tilted on the correct axis and now revolving around the SUN and no longer flying out of control.THAT IS CRAZY and requires great faith. its not fact! o.k. more on that later.what im posting today is one of my favorites of Georgie for the Weekly Standard, the story was about how a few men in his cabinet departed. Colin Powell, John Ashcroft. so the idea was to show BUSHIE as the master and commander. i always love drawing cool outfits. time period pieces always make me hungry to draw. i also had a chance to draw Condi rice. this was one of may last paintings in acrylics before i moved into oils.tomorrow is "its not about me friday" i will introduce you to the greatest person in my life beside JESUS . have a great day tom
